About This Game The Hunting God is a short walking simulator in which you play as Nodens the hunting god and listen to what he has been through accompanied by a white wolf named Draiochta. It is a relaxing and atmospheric experience with two choices at the end. "My name is Nodens, and I am the god of hunting on my isles. One day when I was traveling in the Forest of Banagher, I caught a glimpse of some nearby deer. However, they were not the only beings that caught my attention. A white wolf was nearing our mutual prey when a few mortals entered my canvas." Nodens' journey will take you from Forest of Banagher to the Mountain of Bhollain. You will come across some statues which unravel various poetic and very short stories. With a nice story written by Simon Kolbe Strange and Stephanie Muscari, The Hunting God will make you have a relaxing experience for approximately an hour. 7aa9394dea Title: The Hunting GodGenre: Adventure, Casual, IndieDeveloper:Tonguç BodurPublisher:Tonguç BodurRelease Date: 28 Jul, 2017 The Hunting God Ativador Download [hacked] A unique twist in the genre! I enjoyed the atmosphere and story to this more than some of the other titles, but it is very different. Many of the landscapes seem alien, or unrealistic and it gave me a sort of "second wind" of enjoyment with his titles.. I was very dissapointed in this Tonguc Bodur game. I am a fan of many of their games, but this one is just.... dull. First of all, exploration is very limited. When you emerge from the starting location, you see the mountains and lake reaching out in front of you and you want to go there and explore it, but the "path through" funnels you throught steep cliffs and ravines, and quickly turns you into the direction it wants you to go. Other than the mountains rising up on either side of you so you can't really explore much except the grass in front of you, there are invisible walls that stop you getting to the lakes and things, which feels very lazy and restrictive.A second negative point is how repetitive the first chapter is. You wak and walk and walk through the path that funnels you between these really steep cliffs so you can't see any landscape, and each turn in the path feels just like the one before. Nothing new to see, nothing engaging in the landscape. They could have done with putting more animals in (like the deer and white horse - there are two encounters and that's it) or opening up the mountains for more viewpoints. It honestly feels like you're just trundling through the heathers past the redwoods. There feels very little purpose other than getting you from A to B when the whole point of a walking simulator is to immerse you in the landscape as the story unfolds. As for the story, I was underwhelmed and not interested. The story does not drop in enough hints to "something more" that keep you engaged. The story chunks are very short and don't give you enough or hint at enough to spur you on into reaching the next story chunk. I didn't feel engaged enough to walk to the very end of the level. In fact, I had enough and put it down.Tl;dr: This is a very underwhelming walking simulator. It's restrictive and unengaging, and I think more could have been done to emmerse you into the world of The Hunting God.. I've quite enjoyed both of the Bottle games by Bodur, which really engaged enough to warrant justifying the price and were not half bad for a one man show. Then I moved onto this. Oh my, this one is bad. Bodur is clearly trying too hard here, and what we've ended up with is an unbelievably boring looking, incoherent 'story' which simply does not make any sense or grip. After yawning for 20 minutes of a dreary stroll with accompanying dialogue (none of which was coherent) I got to the sleeping dragon. I tried for 5 minutes to find a path, failed 30 times, and realised this game was just poor.Sorry Bod mate, I've liked your Bottle series and indeed I bought your whole catalogue, but I can see why this one is only \u00a32.50.This is a no from me.. This is a good game for when you want something relaxing that doesn't require too much thinking. It's just walking and listening to a story that is interesting enough. Also easy 100% achievements.Edit:I played earlier games from the same developer and this one is definitely an improvement compared to those. This is longer, has a proper story, the voiceover is done by a native speaker, and there are subtitles.. Really good relaxing game
